We invite you to the European #symposium „Tackling rising energy costs: the role of climate policy in supporting vulnerable groups“, on the 28th of March 2023 from 10:00am to 5.00pm.
With a hybrid #event format, participation will be possible both in-person in Berlin as well as digitally. Of course, we would be more than happy to welcome as many of you as possible in person.

Why should you attend?
In light of rising #energyprices and the cost-of-living crisis, research at the intersection of the vulnerability discourse and climate policy has come to the forefront of public and policy debates across Europe. The need for #sustainable, long-term changes in the housing and mobility sectors that support the most vulnerable in our #society have become ever more apparent. With the introduction of the #ETS2 and the associated #SocialClimateFund, these questions will continue to grow in importance in the coming years.
Together we would like to discuss how vulnerable groups and households can be identified, which indicators may be useful in this regard, and explore policies and measures that tackle energy and transport poverty.
